Wave hill is a public garden and cultural center in the Bronx geared toward art and creativity. Wave Hill is hosting three installations for the Sunroom Project Space, a program that provides an opportunity for New York-area emerging artists to exhibit work.
Tiffany Jaeyeon Shin: M for Membrane
September 5–October 18
With outdoor and indoor multi-media installations, including video, drawings and sculpture, M for Membrane showcases microbial forms, fungi and indigenous mold.
Gracelee Lawrence: The Other Escapes, the Ones You Can Open in Yourself
October 1–December 6
This outdoor installation explores the relationship between the body, propagated plants and technology.
Zac Skinner: Ecocide Drifter
October 25 - December 6
Ecocide Drifter displays the consequences of land and water pollution, industry, capitalism and other threats that have caused the displacement of individuals and ecosystems.
