CHRISTMAS ON THE ROCKS, now in its eighth year, features works by seven playwrights –John Cariani, Jeffrey Hatcher, Jenn Harris & Matthew Wilkas, Jacques Lamarre, Theresa Rebeck and Edwin Sanchez—each aiming to add their own spin to the canon of holiday traditions of the past.

CHRISTMAS ON THE ROCKS’ offers what TheatreWorks Hartford describes as an  offbeat collection of twisted holiday tales about Christmas Eve in a rundown local bar, and the bartender finding himself mixing drinks for a parade of surprising guests.
