TheaterWorks Hartford Presents Walden, directed by Mei Ann Teo. In Walden, a NASA botanist named Cassie finds herself in a remote cabin in the woods after returning from a year-long Moon mission. Cassie’s estranged twin sister, Stella, a former NASA architect, has found a new life in the cabin with climate activist Bryan. Old wounds resurface as the sisters attempt to pick up the pieces of the rivalry that broke them apart. 

Attendees walk 400 steps down a dirt road to a cabin “in the woods” to be immersed in the world of the play, which is heard through wireless headsets provided to give a unique and intimate experience, according to a TheaterWorks Hartford spokesperson.
