“...screening of "Mardana’s Children: The Rababis of Lahore" (2023) and discover the untold story of the Rababis, a lineage of Pakistani musicians whose sacred connection to Sikh devotional music has endured centuries of history. The Rababis were the original custodians of Sikhism's kirtan tradition, which began with Bhai Mariana, a Muslim musician and the closest companion of Guru Nanak. Mardana used his music to spread his message of peace, unity and oneness.

Experience the Rababis Ensemble live in concert, following the screening as they bring this rich musical heritage to life, with melodies and rhythms that have echoed through generations..."
