“...Spotlight pop-up with Tainan, Republic of China (Taiwan)-based Texture Printmaking Studio... the installation features 30 works selected from Texture Printmaking Studio's print exchange program, Exchanging Texture. All 30 works in Texture's presentation will be available to collect, with proceeds benefiting Print Center New York. Texture Printmaking Studio is a multidisciplinary printshop founded by Pei-Hsuan Wu that promotes printmaking through workshops, an artist residency, an international print exchange and more. The exchange program features original prints from printmakers worldwide, with representation across countries such as Japan, South Korea, the United States and France. Conceived as a rotating "pop-up" series, Print Center New York's Publisher Spotlight program was piloted in September 2023 as a way to bring Print Center New York's visitors into direct contact with new editions throughout the year by printer-publishers that haven't had broad exposure in Chelsea or at large art fairs.
