MCC Theater presents their annual Miscast event, where stars of stage and screen once again take to the virtual stage to sing songs from roles in which they would not traditionally be cast. The broadcast is captioned, and includes new performances, special guests, and more. Will Van Dyke serves as Musical Supervisor and Director of Miscast21.

Miscast21 also includes an auction and raffle. Prizes in the auction include signed MCC memorabilia and vacation packages. A free raffle is also available, with the prize being a VIP Show Only Experience at Miscast22 – including 4 VIP tickets, a backstage meet and greet with the cast, a post show champagne toast on stage, and exclusive Miscast22 merchandise with a signed program.

Funds raised from Miscast21 help MCC Theater produce new works Off-Broadway, support its Youth Company and in-school partnerships that serve New York City public high school students, and MCC’s literary development work with emerging playwrights.
