A spokesperson describes the event as follows:
“...an interactive dance concert that narrates the migration story of the Romani people. This unique performance will be featured as part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series, supported by the Mayor’s Office and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
The "Indo-Ruska Romani Dance Journey" showcases Romani dances from India and Russia, offering audiences a vivid exploration of cultural interconnectedness. The event will include narrated dance performances and vibrant costumes, and will culminate in an audience participation group dance…"
