Fotografiska New York with Photography 4 Humanity exhibits the work of Anindito Mukherjee, the 2020 Photography 4 Humanity Global Prize Recipient. A spokesperson for Photography 4 Humanity comments, “Mukherjee’s photo The Last Rites captures both the human and systemic costs of COVID-19 in Delhi.” In addition, the top ten finalist images from the Photography 4 Humanity competition are exhibited.
Photography 4 Humanity is an international initiative that calls on photographers to bring the power of human rights to life through their images, and submit their work for an annual competition. This competition strives to inspire people to take a stand for human rights, with an annual award presented by the United Nations Human Rights, the lead agency within the United Nations system to promote and defend human rights.
