Film Maudit 2.0 Festival Presents HOSPITAL DUMPSTER DIVERS Film Review — Don’t Be Sloppy

Rasmus rushes to the heap of biochemical and toxic waste below the hospital after shoving several dangerous bags down an out-of-order garbage chute. The waste is ablaze and flames spread throughout the room. After extinguishing the fire, a whimpering echoes throughout the room – is it a child? Rasmus encourages the voice to appear, only to discover it is not a child but a bulging-eyed-beast with syringe needles prodding out of its scaly head and a set of small, pointy teeth.

Does Rasmus’s reckless decision to dispose of toxic waste in an out-of-order trash chute jeopardize the entire hospital?

Anders Elsrud Hultgreen’s Hospital Dumpster Divers depicts the consequences of breaking “The Commandments of Waste Recycling” which Rasmus disobeyed when he flung hazardous waste in the chute and unintentionally created a ferocious fiend. The little – but deadly – beast waddles around the hospital for prey in this modern monster movie.

This film is perfect for anyone interested in monster movies and dark humor, but, in this writer’s opinion, Hospital Dumpster Divers is a gory film with grotesque images and is not a good fit for the squeamish.
