Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, founded in 1995, is rooted in the traditions of African American dance and storytelling. Using many genres of dance, Deeply Rooted works with choreographers from across the country to reflect universal truths in their work.
The next two performances are part of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater’s Summer Dance Intensive June 26th-July 22nd , that hosts 70 national and international students helping students learn more about dance through a series of workshops and performances.
