A spokesperson describes the event as follows:

“...“HindSight”, an opera about the Leopold and Loeb murder that happened in Chicago. In the centennial year of the infamous “crime of the century”, this dark and terrifying work looks at what white supremacy, when unchecked, is capable of.

This riveting one-act work is by composer Felix Jarrar and librettist Bea Goodwin. (Goodwin’s “Fizz & Ginger” thrilled audiences at Chicago Fringe Opera last season.) A tenor and a baritone play Leopold and Loeb, along with an actor representing the boy murdered by the pair. A clarinetist and pianist deliver a score by Jarrar that is both expansive and descriptive…"
