Chicago Children’s Choir presents their annual Black History Month concert series Remembering, Reclaiming, Reconnecting. The program features music from Nigeria, Peru, Jamaica, and the United States in an aim to celebrate the vast cultures of the African Diaspora and their impact on Chicago. The show’s curator says “We return to the concert series annually because of our ceaseless commitment to augment Africana history and representation in our community.”
